About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring team members for Sales or Customer Service at Bridgepointe Shopping Center. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy store environment, collaborate to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, support a quick and easy customer experience, and help keep the store clean and clutter-free. Responsibilities may include keeping the sales floor organized, assisting customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, operating a point-of-sale system, supporting fitting room operations, organizing and returning merchandise, maintaining stockrooms, and following operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards. Stock Support and Fulfillment duties include receiving and processing merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, using inventory management systems, and providing general store support.

The position requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift and handling merchandise, including lifting. The listed pay range is $21.00–$21.85 per hour, with offers dependent on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. • For Stock Support and Fulfillment only: frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep the sales floor organized, sized, and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, including operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items, and handling bulky or sometimes heavy items.
• Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
• Sort and return clothing to the sales floor to maintain a clean, clutter-free customer experience.
• Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
• Follow operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
• For Stock Support and Fulfillment: receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
• For Stock Support and Fulfillment: fulfill customer orders promptly and prepare and ship orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• For Stock Support and Fulfillment: use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, such as setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
