Seasonal Customer Service - Stephanie Street Center Rack
About The Position
As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to provide a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and a quick, easy customer experience. You will help keep the store clean and clutter-free and may work in different areas of the store as needed. Available work areas include Customer Service, Sales, Stock Support, and Fulfillment. Sales and Customer Service work includes maintaining and replenishing the salesfloor, assisting with in-store, online, and mobile transactions, operating point-of-sale systems, bagging merchandise, supporting fitting rooms, organizing clothing and stockrooms, and helping customers. Stock Support and Fulfillment work includes receiving and processing merchandise, fulfilling and shipping orders, using inventory management systems, maintaining organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support.

Responsibilities
- Work with the team to keep the salesfloor ready, sized, and stocked by re-merchandising and straightening merchandise throughout the day.
- Assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions, operate point-of-sale systems, bag merchandise, and provide a friendly experience.
- Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
- Keep the customer environment clean and clutter-free by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
- Organize stockrooms and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
- Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store.
- Follow operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
- Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
- Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
- Fulfill customer orders promptly and according to quality standards.
- Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
- Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
- Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
- Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
