About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring seasonal team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment roles at Columbia Crossing. Team members help create a quick, easy, and enjoyable customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Candidates can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. The position requires a flexible schedule based on business needs. Pay is $17.20–$17.90 per hour, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Benefits eligibility may depend on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.

For Stock Support or Fulfillment roles, ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

For Sales and Cashier roles, greet customers, guide them to fitting rooms, and sort and return clothing to the sales floor.
Encourage customers to participate in initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, including checking in and accurately ticketing merchandise.
Maintain a runway-ready sales floor by re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise with technologies used in the store.
Resolve customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
For Stock Support and Fulfillment roles, receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and according to quality standards.
Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
