About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring seasonal team members for multiple roles in Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment. Team members help create a quick, easy, and enjoyable customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment. Applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Cashier team members support fitting room experiences, promote initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards, maintain organized stockrooms and sales floors, assist with customer transactions, use store technologies, and resolve customer concerns. Stock Support and Fulfillment team members receive and deliver merchandise, fulfill and ship customer orders to quality standards, use inventory management systems to process and research shipments, maintain clean and organized areas, and provide general store support. The position offers $20.00–$20.80 per hour, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Responsibilities

Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
Keep the sales floor runway ready by re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver new arrivals to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and in accordance with quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, processing markdowns, and relocating fixtures.
