About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, connect them with products and services, and work toward sales goals through customer engagement and effective selling behaviors. You help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver strong customer and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled to work 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

• Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
• Resourcefulness and adaptability to changing priorities; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to use electronic devices.
• Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
• Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 25 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create friendly, personalized conversations that build customer relationships and loyalty.
• Understand customer needs and recommend relevant products and services.
• Work toward daily sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor.
• Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
• Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, thank them sincerely, and assist with their packages.
• Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
• Use computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers to perform job functions and process transactions.
