About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support employee assists customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns, and other transactions while providing excellent customer service. The role involves keeping service quick, easy, and enjoyable; helping customers with purchase decisions by staying informed about fashion trends and products; and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked cash wrap and sales floor. Employees also build customer relationships by sharing information about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program. The position may provide support to other store areas, including order fulfillment and order pick-up. The role requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent handling of merchandise, and the ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally. The listed pay range is $21.00–$21.85 per hour; offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Stay informed about key fashion trends and products to assist customers with purchase decisions.
Build customer relationships by informing customers about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Support other store areas as needed, including order fulfillment and order pick-up.
