Seasonal Retail Ambassador - Pasadena
About The Position
As a Retail Ambassador at Rothy’s, you represent the brand on the sales floor by delivering exceptional customer experiences and living the company’s values in every interaction. The role focuses primarily on sales through service, meaningful customer connections, and support for a welcoming, inclusive store culture. You will also assist with limited operational tasks to help keep the store organized, clean, and running smoothly. The role is based in Pasadena, California, and requires availability for at least 16 hours per week on the stated peak and non-peak day combinations. The position is seasonal. Pay is $18.57 per hour, with possible additional discretionary bonuses or incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine customer connections.
- Have a passion for service and the drive to achieve personal and team sales goals.
- Be willing to support operational tasks as part of the team.
- Be available to work at least 16 hours per week, either 3 peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) or 2 peak days plus 2 non-peak days (Monday through Thursday).
- Be able to stand or walk for an entire shift.
- Be able to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 lbs.
- Be able to frequently bend, reach, and stretch, and safely use ladders and step stools.
- Follow Rothy’s dress code, including wearing Rothy’s shoes during every shift.

Responsibilities
- Deliver the Rothy’s Experience to every customer through service, presentation, communication, and product expertise.
- Drive personal sales and results and contribute to team goals.
- Build lasting customer relationships through clienteling practices.
- Support a positive, inclusive, service-driven store culture through collaborative, team-focused behavior.
- Complete assigned daily operational tasks accurately, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising support, store organization, and cleanliness.
- Follow store operations, policies, procedures, and SOPs to support operational excellence and compliance.
