About The Position
Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit (PCU) PRN - Central Staffing Office. Texas Health Central Staffing Office (Progressive Care Unit) is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular regions. The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
