About The Position

This role is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) in the Central Staffing Office, specifically for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The position is PRN (as needed) for night shifts and requires availability for 36 hours per week. The nurse will be primarily working in Region B, though the main office is in Arlington, TX. The Central Staffing Office is an internal department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals, with a focus on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
