About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a PRN basis for day shifts. This role is part of an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals, specifically within Region C. The department is known for its high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. The position requires availability for 36 hours per week and is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The pay rate is $70.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required
- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire Required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire Required
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days Required
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
