Seasonal Registered Nurse/ (RN) - Central Staffing Office – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - PRN Days - Region A
About The Position
This position is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) in the Central Staffing Office, focusing on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role is PRN (as needed) for day shifts and is located in Region A. The Central Staffing Office is an internal department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. The main office for the Central Staffing Office is in Arlington, TX, but the primary work location will be in Region A. The work hours are PRN 'as needed' with a requirement to be available to work 36 hours/week. This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The shift is Days, 7 AM-7 PM, with no self-scheduling. The pay is $70.00 per hour. Region A includes Allen, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Prosper, Rockwall, Kaufman, and Center for Diagnostics & Surgery Plano.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
