About The Position
The Seasonal Operations Associate supports the operations team during the holiday season and helps enhance the client experience through accurate, safe, and timely execution of operational assignments. The role reports to an Operations Manager and involves processing inbound and outbound merchandise, completing inventory control activities, and making merchandise price changes. The position requires a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in an operations or warehouse role.
- Familiarity with and ability to use retail and mobile technologies.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Unload and sort inbound merchandise and prepare it for the selling floor.
- Prepare outbound merchandise for shipment to clients, other stores, or the distribution center.
- Complete daily inventory control operations.
- Execute merchandise price changes as needed.
- Follow safety procedures on the receiving dock and in all other work areas.
