About The Position

Seasonal team members may work in Grocery, Guest Service (Front End), Early Morning Production, or Produce, and may provide counter support in Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood. The role supports stores during key business periods and is temporary; employment may conclude at the end of the seasonal business period. Team members help create a warm, welcoming, memorable shopping experience by providing personal service and assisting guests across departments. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• Have a passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Be at least 16 years of age, or at least 18 years of age for work in Deli, Bakery, or Produce.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
• Meet the physical and work conditions of the role, including repetitive hand and arm movements; grasping, bending, and reaching; lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds; exposure to extreme temperatures; and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, as well as personal protective equipment.
• Use tools and equipment such as knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, and pallet jacks, unless under age 18.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by learning guests’ wants and needs and helping them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and weekly ad items and work across departments to assist guests.
• Safely handle food products for guest sampling.
• Merchandise and stock products and specialty items throughout the day while assisting nearby guests.
• Weigh and scan products, handle cash, and provide appropriate change.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and perform general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Slice and prepare department meats, cheeses, and convenient meal solutions while maintaining quality product levels.
• Present oneself professionally and adhere to uniform standards.
