About the position
Voyager Therapeutics is seeking a Scientist/Senior Scientist to join their Bioanalytical Sciences team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the development of immunological and bioanalytical assays relevant to AAV Gene Therapy and Therapeutic Antibodies. This bench-level position offers the opportunity to work in a cross-functional environment and collaborate with Voyager scientists. The main responsibilities include developing assays, analyzing samples, implementing cutting-edge tools, interpreting data, and collaborating with internal research teams. The candidate will also be involved in the development of standardized procedures and the transfer of methods to CRO labs.
Responsibilities
- Develop immunological and bioanalytical assays to assess immune status of preclinical study subjects in AAV gene therapy studies
- Analyze serum and/or plasma samples for the estimation of anti-AAV total antibody (Tab) and neutralizing antibody (Nab) levels
- Identify, evaluate, and implement cutting edge tools and novel immunological methods relevant to AAV gene therapy development
- Independently analyze and interpret data and present in various team formats
- Integrate and collaborate with internal research teams in a fast-paced environment
- Use best practices in the development of standardized procedures and automation systems
- Transfer immunological and bioanalytical methods to CRO labs and monitor method validation and GLP
Requirements
- Strong background in the development of immunological and bioanalytical assays relevant to AAV Gene Therapy and Therapeutic Antibodies
- Experience in developing immunological and bioanalytical assays to assess immune status of preclinical study subjects in AAV gene therapy studies
- Ability to analyze serum and/or plasma samples for the estimation of anti-AAV total antibody (Tab) and neutralizing antibody (Nab) levels
- Knowledge of cutting-edge tools and novel immunological methods relevant to AAV gene therapy development
- Ability to independently analyze and interpret data and present in various team formats
- Collaboration and integration skills to work with internal research teams in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with best practices in the development of standardized procedures and automation systems
- Experience in transferring immunological and bioanalytical methods to CRO labs and monitoring method validation and GLP

- Understanding of statistical principles as applicable in bioanalytical data analysis
