School Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Cross Country Education is hiring a School Registered Nurse (RN) in Hollywood, Florida, to provide professional nursing care and health support to students in a school setting on an as-needed, per-diem basis. The nurse monitors and responds to students’ routine and acute healthcare needs, including pediatric and diabetes-related care; administers ordered medications and treatments; and maintains accurate, confidential health records. The role also responds to health emergencies and collaborates with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed. The schedule is approximately 37.5 hours per week, depending on the school assignment.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- Completion of AHCA Level 2 background screening clearance.
- Experience with pediatric nursing and pediatric diabetes management, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration.
