About The Position
BAYADA Pediatrics is hiring Registered Nurses for substitute school nursing assignments throughout Gloucester County, with additional needs in Cumberland County. Nurses may cover substitute and long-term school nurse requests, work with students of all ages, and take on one-on-one school nursing opportunities and bus runs. The role involves providing nursing care to BAYADA clients and students, with a focus on compassionate, reliable care and support from a multidisciplinary team. Pay is $35–$40 per hour.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- School Nurse certification or Substitute Nurse certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatrics experience is a plus but is not required; industry-leading training is available through BAYADA.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapy.
- Communicate with other members of the client’s multidisciplinary team.
- Manage supplies.
- Manage emergencies.
