About The Position
This part-time position supports an after-school program at Mettawee Community School, a public elementary school in West Pawlet, Vermont. The program follows the school calendar and is scheduled for school days from 2:25 to 5:30 PM during the 2026–2027 school year. The assistant helps create a fun, welcoming space for school-age children, supports friendships through games and activities, and serves as a positive influence during the afternoon. Pay is $16.00 to $17.50 per hour, with payday every other Friday.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with school-age children.
- Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be comfortable working in a structured school setting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children; experience is helpful but not required.
