About The Position

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive whole-health services, including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services, and programs addressing social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Its health centers serve people of all ages across five Central Indiana counties.

The Scheduler facilitates the flow of information among patients, referral sources, providers/prescribers, and Aspire services to schedule patient appointments. The role handles a large volume of calls and serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking services from Aspire. This position is work from home.

All Aspire employees are subject to a drug screen, TB test, and extensive background checks, including criminal history, sex offender registry, state central registry, education verification, and professional references. Employees are strongly encouraged to receive a flu shot and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before joining. Aspire also follows CDC protocols, including masking, social distancing, and sanitizing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in healthcare.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Medical office experience.
• Previous insurance billing experience.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
