SCHEDULER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Canteen is hiring a full-time Scheduler to manage the daily scheduling process for SmartService vending routes, vending, and markets. The Scheduler uses Cantaloupe scheduling software to dynamically schedule routes and Cantaloupe merchandising tools to merchandise them. The role communicates with drivers and CSMs about schedule and planogram (POG) changes, merchandising, missed picks, and skipped stops; provides updates to senior management and drivers; and serves as a backup Line Pick Line Supervisor and Picker when needed. The position is based at Canteen, 2643 North Interstate 35E, Suite 200, Carrollton, Texas 75006. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The fixed pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous Microsoft Office and Excel experience.
- Computer technical skills, including Excel, analytics, and new technologies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
Nice To Haves
- Route driver experience at the branch is preferable.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily scheduling process for vending and markets.
- Use Cantaloupe scheduling software to dynamically schedule each route.
- Merchandise each route using Cantaloupe merchandising tools.
- Act as a backup Line Pick Line Supervisor as needed.
- Communicate daily with drivers and CSMs regarding schedule changes, POG changes, merchandising, missed picks, and skipped stops.
- Provide updates to senior management and share progress with drivers.
- Act as a backup Picker as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
