Scale Attendant
About The Position
Waste Connections is hiring a Scale House Attendant/Clerk at its transfer station in Canton, Texas. The role involves welcoming and directing customers and employees, recording scale weights, collecting signatures, calculating customer payments, and helping ensure incoming garbage loads are safe and free of inappropriate materials. The attendant is expected to interact with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities
