About The Position

JBS USA Pork is hiring full-time sanitation general laborers for its Sanitation Division. The role involves maintaining and sanitizing facilities, machinery, and equipment to support efficient production and meet food safety and product-quality standards. Employees perform hands-on cleaning tasks, may operate heavy equipment, use required personal protective equipment, and work in production and maintenance settings. The position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and is on the third shift.

Requirements

• Good attendance and safety records.
• Ability to work hands-on at a high speed.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to work in production and maintenance settings with exposure to chemicals, machinery, knives, slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and sanitize facilities, machinery, and equipment for efficient production.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Use personal protective equipment effectively.
• Keep work areas clean and follow food safety protocols.
• Follow JBS specifications to ensure meat product quality.
• Remain aware of surroundings and notify a supervisor of recognized hazards.
• Perform sanitation tasks with little supervision, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, and hallways.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
