About The Position

The Sanitation Hourly position performs cleaning and sanitation work in production and maintenance settings on the 3rd shift. The role involves hands-on, fast-paced work, often with little supervision, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, and other areas. Team members must complete the safety and food safety/GMP training required for their assignment and use chemicals with appropriate training and personal protective equipment. The work environment may include extreme or cold temperatures, moving machinery, hot water, slippery floors, knives, chemicals, and loud ambient noise. The role requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, or crawling; repetitive hand scrubbing and hose use; and lifting over 50 pounds at times. The starting hourly rate is $22.10. The employer conducts post-offer drug, alcohol, and background checks before employment begins.

Requirements

Be able to stand, walk, bend, and/or crawl for extended periods.
Be able to work in extreme temperatures and with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water, and slippery floors.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive hand scrubbing and hose work.
Maintain good attendance and safety records.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production areas.
Complete mandatory safety training required for the job assignment.
Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training required for the job assignment.
Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, and hallways.
Work hands-on at a high speed and lift over 50 pounds at times.
Work with multiple chemicals using proper training and personal protective equipment.
