About The Position

The Sanitation Worker cleans and sanitizes production areas and completes required safety and food safety/GMP training. The role is based in Sanford, North Carolina, and involves working in refrigerated conditions and a fast-paced production environment. Listed hours include 10 p.m.–6 a.m. and 1 a.m.–8 a.m.; the schedule is described as Monday through Saturday, with some Sunday work. Overtime may be assigned.

Pilgrim’s states that team member safety comes first. New team members undergo drug, alcohol, and background checks after an offer and before employment begins. Requirements

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive-motion work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime as assigned.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities
