About The Position

Pilgrim’s is hiring a Sanitation Worker to clean and sanitize production areas. Team members must complete required safety and food safety/GMP training for their job assignment. The position involves working in a refrigerated environment, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive-motion work in a fast-paced setting. Overtime may be assigned. Listed shift hours include 10 p.m.–6 a.m. and 1 a.m.–8 a.m.; the schedule section also lists Monday–Saturday, 10:30 a.m.–6:30 a.m. and 1 a.m.–8 a.m., with some Sunday work.

Requirements

• Ability to work in refrigerated temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive-motion work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
