About The Position

Hair Cuttery is seeking a Salon Manager to lead salon growth, profitability, and team culture. The manager recruits stylists, develops relationships with local beauty schools, mentors salon professionals, and leads by example by performing salon services and demonstrating established hair guides. The role uses data and digital tools, including the Stylist App and Zenoti, to support sales, scheduling, and salon reputation. The manager also maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming salon in accordance with State Board and OSHA standards. The position is listed in DE, FL, IL, IN, MD, NJ, NC, PA, VA, and WV. The standard schedule is 40 hours per week, five days of eight hours. Compensation is performance-based and may include service and retail commissions and tips. The Salon Manager reports to a District Leader.

Requirements

A cosmetology license in the state where applying.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Basic math skills for cash and inventory tasks.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive salon motions throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a salon environment with exposure to hair chemicals, scents, and fumes.
Commitment to attending required training and events.

Nice To Haves

At least 12 months of experience in a prior leadership role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Recruit stylists, partner with local beauty schools, and build the salon team.
Lead by example in providing salon services and delivering a positive guest experience.
Use data and digital tools, including the Stylist App and Zenoti, to support sales goals, scheduling, and the salon's reputation.
Mentor associates using the IGROW model and support their career development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and inspiring salon in accordance with State Board and OSHA standards.
Manage salon performance, including payroll percentages and performance scorecards.
Attend required training and events.
