About The Position

The Salon Leader runs the salon while continuing to work as a stylist. The role is responsible for building and leading a strong team, delivering a positive guest experience, and achieving salon results, with support from local ownership and ongoing leadership training. Compensation includes commission from day one under a leadership commission plan, tips, a guaranteed $13.00 per hour if commission is lower, and the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus based on salon performance.

Requirements

• Current Nevada cosmetology license.
• At least 2 years of full-time salon experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role such as Assistant Salon Leader, lead stylist, or manager.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts, color, and other salon services as a working stylist.
• Lead, coach, and train the salon team.
• Hire and onboard new stylists.
• Build the schedule and manage labor to meet salon goals.
• Manage the salon budget and operate a profitable salon.
• Drive service and retail sales.
• Manage inventory, salon standards, and opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure every guest has a great experience.
