About The Position

SmartStyle, operated by American Salon Group LLC., is hiring full-time licensed Salon Leaders to lead salon teams, grow the business, and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a supportive, growth-focused environment. This is a hands-on leadership role: Salon Leaders work behind the chair and provide hair services as salon needs require, while also managing operations. The balance between administrative duties and time on the salon floor varies by location.

Salon Leaders motivate, coach, hire, train, and develop their teams; provide client consultations and retail recommendations; and manage scheduling, inventory, and reporting. Leadership and technical training, along with ongoing support, are provided. Previous leadership experience is helpful but not always required.

Requirements

• Active, valid cosmetology license.
• Strong leadership and salon experience.
• Passion for beauty, artistry, and results.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds, and to work with fragrances and chemicals.

• Previous leadership experience is helpful but not always required.
