About The Position

SmartStyle, operated by American Salon Group LLC., is hiring a full-time licensed Salon Leader to lead a salon team, grow the business, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines salon operations and team management with providing hair services to customers. The balance between administrative and floor work varies by location and salon needs. Leadership and technical training, along with ongoing support, are provided.

Requirements

• Active, valid cosmetology license.
• Strong leadership and salon experience.
• Passion for beauty, artistry, and results.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds, and to work with fragrances and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership experience is helpful but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Work behind the chair, demonstrating skill, service, and leadership.
• Motivate and coach the team to achieve goals.
• Provide client consultations and retail recommendations.
• Manage salon operations, including scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
• Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Drive salon success through effective operations and a positive guest experience.
• Provide hair services to customers as salon needs require.
