About The Position

Talbots is hiring a temporary, part-time Sales Support associate for its Wyomissing, Pennsylvania store. The associate provides customer service, supports sales and store operations, and helps build customer and brand relationships. This role requires fashion and product knowledge, teamwork, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position also involves standing and moving for extended periods, climbing ladders, reaching and bending, and lifting, carrying, or moving at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
• Welcome customers as a greeter and answer phone calls.
• Assist the management team in building store business and support service enhancers that strengthen customer relationships.
• Serve multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed about fashion trends and new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion details.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and recommend items suited to customers' needs.
• Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to improve performance.
• Support sales and service metrics, including clienteling and outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Complete assigned projects and operational tasks, including filling orders, replenishment, folding, and recovery.
