Temp Sales Support
About The Position
Talbots is hiring a temporary, part-time Sales Support associate at its Roseville, California store. The role supports store sales and service by delivering a welcoming, meaningful customer experience, providing fashion and product guidance, assisting the management team with store business, and completing assigned operational projects. Associates are expected to contribute to sales and service goals, participate in learning and coaching, and collaborate effectively in a diverse, fast-paced store environment. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as regular movement and the ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
- Welcome customers warmly as a greeter and/or answer the phone.
- Assist the management team in building store business and support service enhancers that strengthen customer relationships.
- Serve multiple customers at once and handle simultaneous tasks or projects.
- Stay informed about fashion trends and new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion details.
- Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and recommend items that meet customers’ needs.
- Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize individual performance.
- Support sales and service metrics, including client outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
- Complete assigned projects and operational tasks, including filling orders, replenishment, folding, and recovery.
