Sales Support Specialist
About The Position
Foundation Building Materials (FBM), together with Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), serves commercial and residential construction markets across the United States and Canada. The organizations support construction and architectural projects with building materials and commercial door, frame, and hardware solutions. Their 8,000+ team members focus on operational excellence, innovation, and employee development. Sales Support Specialists help drive growth by supporting sales representatives with product information, quotes, orders, pricing, and deliveries. They provide customer support and serve as a key point of contact to help ensure smooth sales operations. This is a full-time position reporting to the Branch Manager, with a stated base rate of $30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and other factors. The role includes competitive pay and benefits.
Requirements
- Experience in a sales administrator or sales support position.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to focus on different tasks and use time efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple people to reach a resolution.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of FBM and the SBP industry.
Responsibilities
- Input customer quotes.
- Request quotes from vendors.
- Obtain submittals and vendor safety information.
- Contact the sales team and customers to obtain missing information.
- Communicate important feedback to sales, operations, and management.
- Provide customer support using knowledge of products and their applications.
- Manage and update the CRM program.
- Continuously improve and maintain in-depth product knowledge.
- Participate in product training to learn and stay up to date on product knowledge.
