About The Position

Supermicro is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to assist a sales team with customer and order management. The role serves as a liaison across internal departments, provides customers with technical and administrative product information, and supports customer account maintenance. It is responsible for daily sales order processing and data entry, along with related administrative and coordination work.

Requirements

Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
At least 5 years of direct, related sales support experience.
Experience with data entry, production scheduling, and order tracking.
Strong professional communication skills, including phone, written/email, and presentation skills.
Customer service experience and direct client interaction experience, with problem-solving skills.
Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned jobs.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain sales accounts and provide customers with technical and administrative product information.
Perform clerical and office maintenance tasks, including typing correspondence, coordinating activities, data entry, preparing quotations, and processing documents.
Monitor inventory and follow up with purchasers on estimated arrival times.
Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
Assist with coordination of intra-company projects between sales and non-sales departments.
Enter and monitor customer orders and communicate order status directly to clients.
Facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns.
Develop customer service relationships with prospects.
Produce daily reports for clients.
Provide backup support for the supervisor and team members.
Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors.
