About The Position

West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodeling. The In-Home Sales Representative is the primary point of contact for customers and uses the company’s sales method to secure agreements for its products and services. The role is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and follows a monthly rotating schedule. Leads are warm and pre-set; there is no cold-calling or lead generation. Sales appointments take approximately two hours and occur in customers’ homes.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly connect with people.
• Competitive nature and drive to succeed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Previous sales experience; experience in retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles may also be relevant.
• Valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule: weeks 1–2, Monday–Friday, with availability from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM; weeks 3–4, Tuesday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Meet potential customers in their homes and consult with them in depth about the company’s products.
• Communicate the value of the products and the quality of their installation.
• Help customers identify options that fit their budgets.
• Close sales and complete required post-sale activities.
