In-Home Residential Remodeling Sales (Base + Commission, W2)
About The Position
West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodeling. The Design Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for customers, using the company’s sales method to secure agreements for its products and services. The role is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and follows a rotating schedule. Sales appointments are approximately two hours, and the company provides warm, preset leads rather than requiring cold-calling or lead generation. The position includes a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and an annual net sales bonus program. First-year earnings may reach $200,000 or more. Requirements
- Ability to quickly connect with people in a customer-facing environment.
- Competitive nature and drive to succeed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Previous sales experience; the company also notes success among candidates from retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles.
- Valid smartphone or smart device to access required company systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities
- Guide customers through a personalized, one-call-close sales process.
- Secure customer agreements to purchase West Shore Home products and services.
- Attend weekly team meetings and training workshops.
- Follow the monthly rotating schedule: weeks 1–2, Monday–Friday with availability from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; weeks 3–4, Tuesday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
