About The Position

Our client is a custom home builder in the greater Harrisburg area seeking a Sales Representative to sell remodel projects in the local market. The ideal candidate has foundational sales skills and knowledge of residential construction. Compensation is a base salary plus commission and a bonus structure, with a stated salary range of $40,000–$50,000 per year.

Requirements

At least 2 years of sales experience.
Previous experience with residential construction.
Experience with CRM programs; Builder Trend experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (preferred, not required).
Sales experience in construction or a related market.
Experience with Builder Trend.

Responsibilities

Cultivate sales leads through phone, email, the website, open houses, realtors, trade shows, and other marketing events.
Schedule home site visits with prospects.
Explain the sales remodel process to prospects.
Follow established construction standards and best practices for consistency.
Design remodels with clients using provided tools and technology.
Present and review pricing, specifications, and contracts with clients.
Promote and connect clients with outside designers for interior and exterior selections as needed.
Work with the draftsman on plan updates and present revised plans to clients through the design process.
Review selections with clients and help them make choices.
Obtain design agreements and contracts, collect checks, and provide them to administration.
Attend pre-construction meetings for all remodels to share information about clients and any specific requests the team should know.
Review Builder Trend project setup for accuracy.
Obtain allowance pricing from approved vendors for final customer pricing.
