About The Position
The Sales Representative (Relief Large Format) sells and merchandises PepsiCo beverage brands, including Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina, to local large-format accounts such as supermarkets and mass merchants. The role serves as a relief store-level salesperson and a key point of contact for assigned accounts, helping ensure products are available and presented according to merchandising standards. The representative grows sales volume, market share, product distribution, and space allocation while providing customer service. Duties include taking inventory and ordering products for future delivery, rotating and stocking products, executing promotions, building displays, and maintaining customer relationships. The position is based in Louisville, Kentucky, works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and pays $24.65 per hour. Training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. The work is fast-paced and hands-on, with much of the day spent traveling among stores and moving product.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a car to access multiple store locations during the assigned shift.
- Hold a valid U.S. driver's license and provide proof of insurance.
- Be able to lift, load, push, and pull cases weighing 20–45 pounds, with or without accommodation.
- Be able to stand, walk, reach, and squat while merchandising product, with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the relief store-level salesperson and key point of contact for large-format accounts, including supermarkets and mass merchants.
- Grow sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service in assigned accounts.
- Take inventory and place product orders for future delivery by another employee.
- Rotate and stock products on shelves, displays, in coolers, and in backrooms according to merchandising standards.
- Sell and execute promotions, including setting up pricing signs and banners.
- Build relationships with store management, grow sales and space allocation, build displays, and complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
