About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make buying decisions based on their needs. The position works under general supervision and follows established procedures while using occasional independent judgment.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
• Ability to perform the stated physical requirements, including standing and walking throughout the shift and handling merchandise and objects of varying weights.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and help ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products and provide information, assistance, and direction to customers.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and recommend products accordingly.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and remain knowledgeable about advertised sales.
• Maintain pricing and signage according to guidelines.
• Replenish and restock merchandise and assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
