About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a welcoming and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and pricing, and helping customers make informed buying decisions through needs assessment and product recommendations. The position also promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

The employee works under general supervision and follows established procedures, using occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and resolve problems from limited alternatives. The role may include making recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a part-time position. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service and help create a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products to support buying decisions.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Keep informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines and as needed.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
