About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience and provides a legendary customer experience by helping customers make buying decisions based on their needs and recommending suitable products. The position is part-time and operates under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience for customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner; handle merchandise with care and provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and make product recommendations based on that analysis.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines and as required.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
