About The Position

Franz Family Bakery is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to join its team in Union Gap, Washington. The role maintains bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking, rotating outdated products to ensure freshness, presenting products neatly, and keeping product displays orderly. The merchandiser drives a company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations and loads and unloads the vehicle, including pushing and pulling racks and trays. This is a full-time union position with Teamsters Local 760. Employees must be available to work between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends; the schedule is discussed at the interview.

Requirements

• Have a solid work history and at least one year of experience in a similar merchandising position.
• Be available to work between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends; the schedule will be discussed at the interview.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large, bulky racks of product.
• Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
• Have a clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
• Be highly organized, fast-paced, and able to communicate effectively with people inside and outside the organization.
• Have a proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bakery products in assigned stores.

• Keep assigned bakery products neat and orderly.

• Load and unload products from the company-issued vehicle, including pushing and pulling racks and trays.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
