Sales & Marketing Operations Manager

Reuben's Brews•Seattle, WA
•$100,000 - $120,000•Onsite

About The Position

Reuben's Brews is hiring a Sales & Marketing Operations Manager to drive its commercial plan across wholesale, taprooms, and brand. Reporting to the co-founder, the role turns strategy, pricing frameworks, and targets into completed work, delivered on time and in full each week. It is a hands-on, people-facing position focused on executing across multiple workstreams, maintaining accurate weekly numbers, and driving sales rather than primarily developing strategy or building dashboards. The manager will personally build and deliver commercial-plan materials and initiatives, coordinate designers, agencies, contractors, and internal teams, and follow projects from brief through production and launch. The role supports wholesale sales, brand and marketing activity, taproom demand, private events, and merchandise revenue. It also runs the weekly sales cadence, scorecard, forecast, and sales-and-marketing huddle. This is an in-person role in Ballard, with business travel, taproom visits, and occasional weekend events.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales or marketing, including programs or projects.
  • A proven ability to run multiple parallel workstreams and personally drive projects from brief to finished result across departments.
  • Self-directed ability to turn direction into a plan with tasks, owners, and dates without needing a task list provided.
  • Experience driving projects involving multiple departments simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and comfort running a weekly scorecard and forecast.
  • Comfort working in a CRM or sales tool and extracting insights from data to inform decisions.
  • Demonstrates a solution-focused, team-oriented, customer-conscious approach, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and teach, and readiness to roll up their sleeves.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal project-management training or certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in beer, three-tier beverage alcohol distribution, or CPG.
  • Experience managing agencies or contractors.
  • EOS experience.
  • People-management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the commercial plan from direction and brief through finished delivery, completing work personally and coordinating designers, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Build and deliver wholesale-plan needs, including decks, key-account follow-up, distributor and retail execution, and support in closing sales.
  • Deliver releases, events, campaigns, and offerings on time; write briefs and complete work as needed while coordinating with internal teams and agencies.
  • Ensure the brand is consistent across channels and supports consumer and wholesale sales.
  • Build taproom demand, traffic, and reasons to visit, driving topline performance while taproom general managers own operations and the bottom line.
  • Drive wholesale and taproom topline performance; run the weekly scorecard, maintain forecasts and run-rates, and surface misses early with corrective actions.
  • Drive private-event leads and bookings, and facilitate the merchandise portfolio and related revenue in partnership with taprooms.
  • Manage agencies and contractors, keeping work on brief, on time, and on budget.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams on clear weekly priorities and run the weekly sales and marketing huddle.

  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 4% company match.
  • Budget for training and continuing education opportunities.
