Reuben's Brews•Seattle, WA
•Onsite

About The Position

Reuben's Brews is a family brewery founded in 2012, with two brewhouses and tasting rooms. It distributes predominantly in the Pacific Northwest and brewed 23,000 BBLs in 2025. The Sales & Marketing Operations Manager reports to the co-founder and is responsible for driving the commercial plan across wholesale, taprooms, and brand, delivering planned work on time and in full each week. The role executes an established strategy, pricing framework, and set of targets, while also bringing forward ideas to achieve goals more quickly. It is a hands-on, people-facing role focused on completing work across multiple workstreams, maintaining accurate weekly numbers, and driving sales—not primarily on strategy or dashboard building. The position works closely with the sales and marketing teams and serves as the main point of contact for agencies and contractors. It is based in person in Ballard and includes some business travel, taproom visits, and occasional weekend events. Responsibilities may evolve as the brewery grows, and additional tasks may be assigned as business needs require.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales or marketing, including programs or projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and personally drive projects from brief to finished result across departments.
  • Self-directed ability to turn direction into a plan with tasks, owners, and dates without needing a task list to be provided.
  • Experience driving projects involving multiple departments simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and comfort maintaining a weekly scorecard and forecast.
  • Comfort working in a CRM or sales tool and extracting insights from data to inform decisions.
  • Demonstrate a solution-focused approach, a track record of getting work done, an enthusiastic and can-do attitude, and commitment to learning, teaching others, and the brewery's success.
  • Demonstrate a customer- and team-oriented mindset, a focus on team results, willingness to step in where needed, and passion for craft and the extra effort it requires.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in beer, three-tier beverage alcohol distribution, or CPG.
  • Experience managing agencies or contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the commercial plan end to end, taking work from brief through completion and doing hands-on work as needed while coordinating designers, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Build and deliver wholesale-plan materials and execution, including decks, key-account follow-up, distributor and retail execution, and support for closing sales.
  • Deliver brand and marketing releases, events, campaigns, and offerings on time and in full; write briefs, complete work personally when needed, and coordinate with internal teams and agencies.
  • Ensure the brand is consistent across channels and supports consumer and wholesale sales.
  • Build demand and traffic for the taprooms and provide reasons for customers to visit, driving topline results while taproom general managers manage operations and the bottom line.
  • Drive the wholesale topline and business generated for taprooms; maintain the weekly scorecard, forecast, and run-rates, and surface shortfalls early with proposed fixes.
  • Drive private-event leads and bookings, and facilitate the merchandise portfolio and related revenue in partnership with the taprooms.
  • Manage agencies and contractors to keep work on brief, on time, and on budget.
  • Set clear weekly priorities with the sales and marketing teams and run the weekly sales and marketing huddle.
