About The Position
Guitar Center is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a dynamic sales team, drive revenue, and create positive customer experiences. The role involves setting an upbeat, customer-focused tone and using a passion for music and product expertise to support the team and customers. The Sales Manager leads sales efforts, trains and develops employees, recruits a high-performing sales team, and manages store inventory, labor, and schedules. The posted pay rate is $22.09–$33.13 per hour, depending on background and experience. The role is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on company performance.
Requirements
- Passion for music and experience as a musician.
- Experience leading a sales team.
- Understanding of P&L statements and labor management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organization, attention to detail, and meticulousness.
- Ability to motivate a team and drive sales results.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
