About The Position
Guitar Center is hiring a Sales Manager to lead a retail sales team, drive revenue, and create positive customer experiences in a fast-paced, music-focused store environment. The manager sets an upbeat, customer-focused tone and uses a passion for music to support both customers and employees. The role leads sales performance, provides training in sales techniques and product knowledge, and builds a high-performing team through recruiting, training, and development. It also involves managing inventory, labor, and schedules to support smooth store operations. The position pays $25.58–$38.37 per hour, depending on background and experience, and is eligible for the company bonus program based on company performance.
Requirements
- Passion for music and experience as a musician.
- Experience leading a sales team.
- Understanding of P&L statements and labor management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organization and attention to detail.
