About The Position
Guitar Center is hiring a Retail Sales Manager to lead a sales team, drive revenue, and create positive customer experiences in a music-focused retail environment. The manager sets an upbeat, customer-focused tone and uses a passion for music and product knowledge to support the team and customers. The role includes leading sales efforts, training and developing employees, recruiting, and managing store operations such as inventory, labor, and scheduling. The listed pay rate is $22.09–$33.13 per hour, depending on background and experience. This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on company performance.
Requirements
- Passion for music and experience as a musician.
- Experience leading a sales team.
- Understanding of P&L statements and labor management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organization and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
