About the position
This role is for a Sales Manager at ClickUp, a rapidly growing SaaS company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales processes and performance for the Digital team. They will work closely with sales leadership to evolve and scale the sales system, while also being a hands-on problem solver. The Sales Manager will play a key role in hiring, setting goals, and developing the sales team. They will collaborate with senior leaders across various departments and prioritize customer experience. Responsibilities
- Manage a pod of at least 5 account executives
- Serve as a player-coach on calls to train new reps
- Help established reps constantly improve
- Motivate all charges to go above and beyond for customers
- Help to mature the initial digital sales strategy
- Construct a fun, high-energy environment for reps
- Prioritize customer experience over making the sale
- Lead by example as a manager
- Monitor adherence to sales policies and practices across reports
- Help develop a streamlined process in a high-velocity motion
Requirements
- Experience in sales management or leadership role
- Ability to oversee sales processes and performance
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience in evolving sales systems
- Comfortable with product demos and assertive in sales reps' demos
- Player-coach mentality with a focus on hustle
- Experience in making sales hires, setting goals, and developing sales reps
- Collaboration with senior leaders across different departments
- Ability to coordinate and manage tasks and projects efficiently
- Prioritization of customer experience over making the sale
- Familiarity with sales policies and practices
- Experience in developing streamlined processes in a high-velocity environment

- 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience in SaaS
- 2+ years of sales management experience
- Understanding of selling into micro-segments
- Familiarity with high-velocity process
- Ability to motivate a team of high-performing reps
- Strong command of English language (written and verbal)
- Experience with project management software or other productivity tools (desirable)
- Experience with e-commerce signup flows and field sales (desirable)
- Experience with Slack, Front, Salesforce, and Outreach (desirable)
- Exposure to Customer Service and Technical Support processes (desirable)
- Preference for building rapport with customers over aggressive sales tactics
