About The Position

The part-time Sales Lead supports daily store business execution, customer engagement, store operations, and merchandising standards. As a member of the store leadership team, the Sales Lead helps ensure high levels of customer engagement and supports a positive work environment that promotes customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability. The role follows instructions and guidelines from the Store Manager, provides sales and performance feedback to the Store Manager, and may be responsible for the store when another manager is absent. The position carries keys and may include opening and closing duties based on business needs. The Sales Lead supports sales, customer service, operations, loss prevention, safety, visual merchandising, associate communication, and store culture. The role requires working a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling merchandise racks, and assembling displays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Proven ability to multitask.
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to stand during scheduled shifts for up to 8 hours.
Ability to lift or maneuver up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push and pull full racks of merchandise.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Vision sufficient to read labels, assist customers, and perform tasks requiring attention to detail.
Ability to use fine manipulation and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing.

Responsibilities

Follow store management direction to maximize sales and achieve store sales goals.
Lead customer engagement on the sales floor to support productivity.
Act as manager on duty when the only member of management in the store.
Model brand-specific service standards and address customer concerns promptly when acting as Manager on Duty.
Wear the brands at work and demonstrate enthusiasm for Lee and Wrangler products.
Greet customers, engage them with open-ended questions, assist them in fitting rooms, and recommend products suited to their needs.
Monitor adherence to company and store policies, processes, and procedures, and report concerns to the Store Manager.
Delegate tasks to associates as needed to maintain operational excellence.
Respond quickly to customer and associate injuries and partner with the Store Manager and Human Resources.
Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards.
Communicate associate concerns to the Store Manager and support the Open-Door Policy.

Assist customers, retrieve merchandise, recover the store, restock merchandise, maintain cleanliness, and occasionally assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
Handle merchandise by sorting, organizing, hanging, and folding clothing.
