About The Position

Longo Toyota of Prosper is hiring an entry-level Sales Inventory Valet for a demanding, fast-paced environment. This full-time, onsite position at Toyota of Prosper in Prosper, Texas, offers an opportunity to learn about the automotive industry and potential growth into roles such as Service Consultant, Service Technician, or Sales Consultant. The schedule has some flexibility and includes weekend shifts.

The role supports dealership sales operations by logging and inspecting incoming pre-owned vehicles, checking paperwork and accessories, managing vehicle keys and parking, and preparing sold vehicles for guests. The valet also maintains an orderly and secure sales parking lot, follows safety practices, and assists other areas of the sales department as needed. Team members are expected to maintain a professional appearance and high ethical standards.

Requirements

• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees.
• Attention to detail.

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds and operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Log newly delivered pre-owned vehicles and compare their serial numbers against the invoice.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify that accessories listed on the invoice are present.
• Verify vehicle paperwork before releasing a vehicle to a third party.
• Park pre-owned vehicles in assigned areas.
• Catalog and store vehicle keys.
• Move vehicles as directed by management.
• Prepare and deliver sold vehicles to guests.
• Maintain a neat and organized parking lot.
• Ensure vehicles in the sales parking lot are locked.
• Follow company safety policies and practices.
• Assist in other areas of the sales department as needed.
• Maintain high ethical standards and a professional appearance.
