About The Position

Pacific Energy Concepts (PEC) is hiring a Sales Engineer for its Los Angeles team, with a start in early January. This in-person role is based out of the Culver City office and includes regular nationwide travel to customer facilities. The position uses a consultative, relationship-based sales approach: learning about customers’ facility needs, developing appropriate energy-efficiency solutions, and building long-term partnerships. The Sales Engineer generates new business, advances deals from initial conversations to signed contracts, and owns the HubSpot pipeline to support accurate forecasting. PEC states that top performers have uncapped commissions with no decelerators. The first-year base salary is $100,000, with expected OTE of $125,000–$175,000. The second-year base salary is $50,000, with OTE of $175,000 or more and continued growth thereafter. PEC provides customized energy-efficiency solutions, including LED lighting systems, advanced controls, EV charging stations, and energy monitoring.
