About The Position

Enercon is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to follow up on inbound leads, nurture customer relationships, and develop strategic outbound outreach initiatives. The role does not involve direct selling; it supports the sales process by maintaining engagement, identifying opportunities, and connecting prospective customers with application experts and the sales team. The SDR works in a collaborative environment at Enercon’s Germantown, Wisconsin plant and corporate headquarters. The position includes prompt follow-up on marketing-qualified leads, inquiries, open proposals, parts quotes, and sample trials; nurturing leads that are not yet ready for sales; researching and contacting prospective customers; and refining outreach strategies. The SDR also manages prospect records and engagement metrics in the CRM, provides feedback to sales and marketing, handles inbound calls and web-chat leads, and contributes updates and ideas in department meetings. Performance is measured through leads converted to opportunities, outgoing calls per week, and total interactions with prospects and customers.
